Crochet Mary Jane booties in Blue
These blue booties measure 4`` and can stretch to 5``
I love making these Mary Jane booties , I decided on blue just to brake away from the same old pinks that I have been working on . I decided on a darker blue w/a yellow green center buttons to make them pop from the booties .
A child can`t have enough booties :)

My newest creation (attached skirtw/pant)
Skirt w/attached pant
My vision coming to life :)
I had envisioned this in my head for the longest time . I searched and searched the web to try and find something to guide me for measurements . Inseam ? how long from waist ? how long to make the skirt etc and I can not believe I couldn`t find help out there . I used the diaper measurement to help me figure out the rise ., And I more or less took a guess on what I thought was the correct length for the skirt . I like how it came out . I am thinking to make a sweater to go with it .
Glamour Shawl
Glamour Shawl ( made for my Sister N Law)
I used Vanna`s Glamour yarn for this Shawl ,
It has a metallic Polyester and glitters in the light ,
I am just in love with this yarn. it only seams available
in stores around the Holidays, so its a good idea to stock
up when you come across it !
5 1/2 skeins for a 60`` X 20`` using a size D hook
I was able to make a few headbands from the remainder
of the yarn :)
Again I used the Lovers knot stitch for this .

crochet pastel headband
PASTEL HEADBAND
I finished this this morning . I like the pastel colors in this yarn and it has a nice shine .
In the picture the flower looks square-ish ! LOL If that's even a word but when I look at it I don`t see it square. It may just be the photographer in me that needs more practice angling the camera in the right direction . This is my greatest seller and my favorite of all the headbands that I have made so far.

Crochet Pastel Poncho
intricate details
Totally stunning !
This poncho just yells Spring !
Whose little girl wouldn`t look adorable in this ?
I had fun making it . This again went very fast .
I may end up adding more details around the neck area .
I used Double crochet , Shell Stitch and the Lovers Knot to make this unique style , and the intricate detail in the front is a one of a kind, even I probably would never make another like it ! I love giving each piece its own identity !

Floppy hat for my niece Emily
Emily with her new Floppy hat
I made this floppy hat for my niece Emily . She looks so adorable with it .
I love the color on her . I will definitely have to make some more in this color . This particular yarn made the hat kinda floppy because it can not be work in any way to give it more shape so when you see the hat its like eh and you kinda just look away but If you give it a chance and have the child try it on , you will be amazed at how pretty it can look when wearing it .
Dont judge by the first look when looking at any handmade items . Go ahead and ask to try them on .

My neice posing with my crochet hat
My sweet niece showing off one of my hats :)
Here is one of my crocheted hat being worn by my niece . Everyone seams to just love this style .
I am thinking of making as many as I can this year so that I can sell them at a fair next October . I went and picked up many new yarns at Michael's yesterday and have started to crochet like mad !! soon as one is finished , I jumped to the next ! I can`t wait to see what the next color combo will kook like.
I noticed that all the items I make look so much nicer when I have someone model for them so maybe come time for the fair , I`ll have my niece with me to help me sell them quicker ? :)

DOILY
DOILY
My sister N law bought this crochet thread some years ago and started to make the doily and just never got around to finishing it . She came across it again this weekend and gave them to me to finish them for her . I did not have enough of the thread to make a third doily and there is no way of finding something here in the states to match it with so she will have to be happy with just the two.

CROCHET FROG PRINCE eating flies
Meet my FROG PRINCE
I wanted to make something fun for my nephews , and my friends at crochetville suggested this frog with flies . It is cute and very educational for a young child . I made 5 flies to stuff in his mouth ..One I gave only 3 legs .. One I made with very short legs , One I made with very long legs . This way it will help them with their math skills .

CREAM and PINK hat

Cream & Pink Colored Hat
I feel the winter in my bones so it is hats , hats , and more hats ! I can`t get my hands to stop working in this cool weather ! I love it :)
The flower for this hat took almost as long as making the hat itself , but the flowers are my signature to all my creations so I take care in trying to make each one look different and if I fail with the first try , I keep trying till I get one that I love . It may sometimes take me 10 tries but the end result is always worth it for me .
I owe all my inspiration for these HATS to Baby Emily , Carolina , Daniella , And baby Liya ( whom I haven`t even met yet ! , But a picture says a thousand words :) )
I wonder what the next hat will be ? I can`t wait myself ! I have been thinking Xmas colors . Time will tell .
If you have any ideas about color schemes or styles , jot me a comment and let me know !

Hat done on a loom
Hat done on a round loom
An up close look of the stitch on the round loom
I found a set of 5 looms on sale for $4.99 last year and just could not pass them up , I had never worked on these round looms before so I was not sure what to expect. The end result is amazing , It looks so professional and I love that you can make them double thick so they are very warm for those very cold days . You can also make them double sided in 2 different colors (reversible ) I will be playing with them more in the coming weeks .
Its amazing how quick it works up , but I do tend to get bored of the repetition in the stitch . This is great to make someone a quick gift , when time is of the essence.
It actually looks like it has been done on a machine .

Pink and White Poncho
Pink And White Poncho
A closer look
Close up of my Flower details
A look at the Neck Line
I made this for my Cousin`s Daughter ( Michelle D`ambrosio) She always has the biggest smile when I see her . These colors will make her smile look even brighter :)
I used a combination of different stitches to give her more warmth around the neck area by using the double crochet , and upper arms and chest area using the Shell Stitch, and then I combined it with the lacy look using the lover`s knot stitch ( also known as the Solomon stitch ). And of course A fringe around the bottom .
I love the way it turned out . I of course had to add My signature to it by adding the flowers . You will notice that in almost all my creations you will find a different flower which I created just to make them unique from anyone else .
