CROCHET SOAP SAVERS

colors from back to front , blue, cream, mustard,
pink, light multi, dark multi and green .

I took all your e`mail advice and made the soap savers with matching face scrubbies :) , NEVER WASTE SOAP AGAIN ! Just stick a bar of soap inside the pouch , wet and scrub away , when done squeeze excess water and just hang to dry for next use . The face scrubbies are great for exfoliating the skin , leaves your face feeling as soft as a babies .

If you still do not see the color your looking for just request a special order . I can easily find a yarn to match the decor in your bathroom... These are also great to use as little pouches in your purse for loose change , jewelry or other little trinkets that end up in our purse .They also make a unique Gift or party favor . next time you make someone a gift basket , add one of these and you will see the sparkle in their eyes ! I bet your gift will not have doubles :)

Each pouch has a draw string and  measures aprox  3`` X 4 ``
face scrubbie measures Aprox 4``

All these were made with 4 ply 100 % acrylic yarns for their durability .

crochet Princess Hat

This is my niece Emily in her princess hat .  This is my very own first pattern that I came up with !  I was so fed up with trying to read a pattern, I grabbed a hook and some yarn and told myself That I was going t to create something ..Strange how a power in me just took over and told my head what to do next, where to add stitches and where to decrease . Ever since that day , I now find it easy to just look at a  child and see a pattern in my head .

I am now able to read some patterns but find myself changing it along the way and follow what my head tells me to do with great results every time .

CREAM and PINK hat

Cream & Pink  Colored Hat

I feel the winter in my bones so it is hats , hats , and more hats !  I can`t get my hands to stop working in this cool weather ! I love it :)

The flower for this hat took almost as long as making the hat itself , but the flowers are my signature to all my creations so I take care in trying to make each one look different  and if I fail with the first try , I keep trying till I get one that I love . It may sometimes take me 10 tries but the end result is always worth it for me .

I owe all my inspiration for these HATS  to Baby Emily , Carolina , Daniella , And baby Liya ( whom I haven`t even met yet ! , But a picture says a thousand words :) )

I wonder what the next hat will be ? I can`t wait myself ! I have been thinking Xmas colors . Time will tell .

If you have any ideas about color schemes or styles ,  jot me a comment and let me know !

WREATHS (fabric & beads)

BLUE WREATH

BLUE WREATH DEATAILS UP CLOSE.

SMALL BLUE WREATH

LARGE PINK WREATH WITH BEADS & ROSETTES

Making these wreaths is so rewarding ... each one is so unique ..The fun all starts with the decorating . I use many different types of beads and flowers , No two will ever be alike . I have also made different sizes and shapes ... I had a request for a heart shaped one and it came out just beautiful.

Here are the instructions I used to make this wreath:
Things You'll Need:
12" or 14" or any shape you like to use  Styrofoam
3 yards of fabric of your color choices ( light fabric works best. I have done some for weddings in the veil fabric and they come out looking like you wouldn`t believe )
Pencil or screwdriver
Pinking shears
Elmer's glue
Bow , Florette's,beads (optional)

1.With pinking shears, cut fabric into 3-inch squares.

2.Wrap fabric around pencil or screwdriver with right side of fabric facing pencil or screwdriver , add a little bit of Elmer's glue .

3.Push fabric into wreath and pull out pencil or screwdriver, leaving fabric in wreath.

4.Attach bow and decorate with Florette's and beads  if desired and hang on door to display.

crochet peach/yellow hat

I just finished this hat today . I made it with 100 % cotton crochet thread.
I am not sure why it looks pink and yellow
in the pictures because it is actually peach with yellow.
This is part of my Christmas collection .

poncho ( 4/5 yr old)

PONCHO

I made this on my spare time taking a break from liya`s sweater . I only work with yarn on the colder days . I prefer working with threads on hotter days and I seam to get more done when I switch from one project to another . It keeps me more motivated.
